Community Heritage

We have been privileged to work with a number of local communities to encourage interest, to provide skills and to help interpret their local heritage. We have also helped local communities to oppose planning applications which they consider to be detrimental to their local heritage. We have also participated in storytelling festivals at local schools, worked with nursery age children and carried out local community consultation events to support applications for funding. At the request of local communities we have written books and created interpretation schemes ranging from panels on guided walks, guided walks leaflets and text and images for smart phone applications. We have led guided walks and provided illustrated talks.
