What We Do
Our portfolio of projects across the UK ranges through conservation area appraisals, advising on listed building and scheduled monument consents, preparing estate surveys and conservation management plans and we regularly provide specialist witnesses for public inquiries.
At the heart of our work is the recognition that before embarking on change that will affect a heritage asset, we should first understand what is important about it and how such change will affect it. Most of our work covers planning consultancy or heritage management. In planning consultancy we work with developers and architects to help historic buildings and places adapt to modern times while still retaining their special qualities. For general heritage management, we work with owners and community groups to help them manage their heritage assets in a way which enhances their special qualities.
